Lisa “King” Christian Nominated for “Grassroots Grammy”

The Just Plain Folks Music Organization has officially announced the nominees for its 2006 Just Plain Folks Music Awards, which are unofficially known as “the Grassroots Grammys”. After receiving over 25,500 albums and 350,000 songs from 105 countries, Nominations for Best Song in 67 Genres and Best Album in 81 categories have been chosen.  

One of the nominees for “Best Americana Song of 2006” just happens to be a song that Lisa “King” Christian wrote in Nashville with the fabulously talented Cheley Tackett. The winners will be announced at the Just Plain Folks Music Awards Show on November 4th, 2006 in Santa Ana, CA at the Galaxy Theater.
